Virtual Crabber Workshop Hosted on June 30th by the Northwest Straits Foundation

Each year an estimated 12,000 crab pots are lost in Puget Sound. These lost pots continue to capture crab with no one there to harvest them resulting in nearly 180,000 Dungeness crab lost each year.

On June 30th at 6:00 p.m. PST the Northwest Straits Foundation is partnering with Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife to host a virtual crabber workshop where you can learn about the 2022 Puget Sound crabbing season, regulations, and receive pro tips on how to be a successful crabber. Questions are encouraged and will be answered live on the webinar.

Registration for this free workshop is required. You can register online at www.catchmorecrab.org or by clicking “Register for Webinar.”
