Whatcom County Public Works is seeking a Planner to join our Natural Resources team. This temporary position has one-year of grant funding for an average of approximately 24 hours per week (0.6 FTE) for the 2023 calendar year. This position will primarily be involved with providing staff support for preservation, restoration, protection and enhancement of the County’s marine ecosystem including working closely with the Whatcom County Marine Resources Committee, community groups and other outside agencies.
